Time Tunnel Terrazzo is a grey terrazzo, and it is welcomed by the architects and the designers, they are commonly used for floor paving and wall coverings, bathroom and vanity tops, etc. The Italian terrace, which Terrazzo is said to stand on since the Italians developed it at the end of the Nineteenth and beginning of the Twentieth century, is one of the most famous terraces in Italy and also it is most popular.
Terrazzo has its roots in the days when workers began covering the terraces around their homes with marble. In the Fifteenth century, mosaic artists in northern Italy swept up the marble scrap and smoothed the surface by simply walking on it. Terrazzo caught the eye when the workers learned to press the chips into a more durable clay base and then grind and polish them with heavy stones. The cement paste was replaced by resin, making it more durable and less susceptible to erosion. The disadvantage of epoxy or resin-based terrazzo is that it can only be used for indoor and not outdoor applications.
