Roman Beige Travertine Stone For Floor and Wall Paving Tiles Projects
Roman travertine is beige travertine that is quarried in Turkey. Vein cut or Crosscut has different visual effects. If this material is vein cut, there are White to Beige wavy veins crossing the beige background, sometimes with some silver shades. If it is cross-cut, the pattern is different, it will be like clouds. Travertine water absorption is high in the natural stone family, therefore, if they are installed in the low temperature or humid area, it tends to be broken. Its hardness is low compared with other natural stones, so, the travertine is not suitable for floor paving which has heavy traffic on them will cause it to break also.
Roman Travertine material is strong and durable, and easy to maintain for years, in Europe, many old buildings covered by travertine kept a good shape and has become the historic scene. It is very good for indoor or outdoor wall cladding, window sill, sink, stairs, swimming pool coping, and other project decorations.
