1. Marble is very fragile and is afraid of hard objects' impact and knocks. Therefore, you should usually prevent heavy objects such as iron objects from hitting the stone surface to avoid pits and affect the appearance. Granite and granite are easier to clean and maintain. Just use some cleaning agents to clean the surface of the marble in your spare time to keep it fresh for a long time.
2. Wipe the countertop regularly with a slightly damp cloth with a mild detergent, and then dry and polish it with a clean soft cloth. When the marble surface is stained, some mild corrosive agents such as lemon juice or vinegar should be used to clean the stain. Use soda powder and other materials that can damage the nature of the marble. You should also pay great attention to the use of lemon juice. The residence time should not exceed 1 minute. Repeat the operation if necessary, and then wash and dry it. For cosmetics, tea and tobacco stains, apply hydrogen peroxide, leave it for two hours, then wash and dry it. For oil stains, use ethanol (alcohol), acetone (wood spirit) or lighter oil to wipe, then wash and dry. If marble furniture is scorched by cigarette butts, you should consider asking someone to repair it.
3. For slightly scratched marble furniture, special marble cleaners and care agents can be used; for severely worn marble furniture that is difficult to handle, it can be wiped with steel wool and then polished with an electric sander to restore the original luster of the marble. For antique or valuable marble furniture, please ask professionals to deal with it.
4. Painted marble furniture must be treated with paint stripper and follow the product instructions. After removing all the paint, wipe it with steel wool and polish it with an electric sander.
