Maintaining Natural Stone Around Your Pool Here are a few procedures to do to preserve the longevity of the stone around your pool.
1. SEALED
We always recommend sealing your stone after installation. In some cases, it may be necessary to dip the seal (on all six sides of the stone tile) using a consolidator sealer. This would be an excellent choice for pool coping. To best safeguard the stone, it is also advised that it be re-sealed every 2-3 years to reduce water penetration.
2. MANAGEMENT OF WATER LEVELS
To minimize constant submersion or saturating and drying, keep your pool water level around 10cm below the pool's coping.
